About Whiskey Doubles
Four musicians, and way too many instruments. Whiskey Doubles is an orchestral folk band out of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. We write original music rooted in the American folk and bluegrass traditions in a chamber ensemble setting. Expect to hear guitar, cello, banjo, banjolele, flute, clarinet, ukulele, bells, drums, tambourines, spoons, clapping, singing, and even an accordion case bass drum.
We enjoy playing on the street corners of Milwaukee as well as in concert settings, and can provide our own P.A. or play an acoustic set. Our orchestral approach to folk music is perfect for both an engaged audience as well as background at family-friendly events.
